OzManouche 2011 will be held at the Brisbane Jazz Club from 25th to 27th November - and we have a great lineup again this year!
Following the highly successful inaugural across-the-ditch visit by Bonjour Swing last year, we've invited La Petite Manouche, two young guitarists from Christchurch, to come and be part of the proceedings this year.
Our headline act for 2011 is the one and only Andreas Oberg from Sweden. Andreas is one of the world's leading Manouche guitar stylists as well as a fine mainstream jazz player. He's a leading educator in the style also, with an online tutoring school.
We also have La Mauvaise Reputation from Melbourne as well as the obligatory journey from Ireland by our patron, the unique Ian Date, with his brother Nigel.
Plus local musicians, Daniel Weltlinger from Lulo Reinhardt's band, and other goodies.
Bookings are now open through the Brisbane Jazz Club website - click the link to the right.
See you there!!
