Sydney Gypsies
Sydney, NSW
Performing Thursday, 24th September on the River Deck
The Sydney Gypsies love Django Reinhardt. Some of us are professionals, and some are in the early stages of learning the amazing music he inspired. Many of us play guitar, but other instruments, including violin, bass, clarinet, and accordion, can be found in our group. We have midweek Djams in Balmain, and monthly ones on Sundays in Henley. Here we are on a wintry Balmain afternoon, showing how we can't wait to join OzManouche in Brizzy. We would love to be cool, but at the moment we are just chilly.
Please note: The musicians will perform acoustically, with the first set commencing after doors open and continuing until the Main Act of the evening begins at 7.30 pm. Their second set will commence during the Main Act’s performance break from 8.30 to 9.00 pm.
